My Jewellery Web Accessibility Statement

At My Jewellery, we believe it is important that everyone can enjoy a sparkling and effortless shopping experience on our websites. That’s why we are committed to optimal digital accessibility and an inclusive online environment for all visitors, regardless of disability or circumstances.

Objectives

We are working to improve the digital accessibility of all websites within the my-jewellery.com domain. In doing so, we follow the internationally recognised WCAG 2.1 guidelines at Level AA.

Our ambition is for every visitor to be able to use our website on any device in a pleasant, understandable and accessible way. We believe in the power of openness, care and equal opportunities for everyone.

Current status

My Jewellery currently partially conforms to the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This assessment was carried out internally based on the guidelines and practical insights.

At the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, we renewed several important parts of our website, including the homepage, menu, header, footer and product detail page. Digital accessibility was given particular consideration throughout the design and development of these elements. As a result, navigation, readability, usability and the overall user experience have been improved.

In July 2026, we also launched a completely renewed checkout. Accessibility guidelines were taken into account from the very beginning of its development. The new checkout therefore meets the accessibility requirements relevant to the checkout.

Future improvements

Digital accessibility is an ongoing process. Although we have already taken important steps, we recognise that not all parts of our website yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We will continue to make accessibility an integral part of future improvements and new developments. This includes paying attention to:

  • Sufficient colour contrast

  • Clear and understandable navigation

  • Keyboard accessibility

  • Alternative text for visual content

  • Clear labels and error messages

  • Support for assistive technologies

Our ambition is to keep improving accessibility and make it a natural part of our digital experience.
