Our Elements of the Ocean Collection is an exploration of all the wonders of nature designed to transport you back to quiet summer memories of picking seashells on the beach. We want to encourage you to take a quiet moment to yourself to really discover the beauty of the world that surrounds us and embrace the small moments that make life so special. Nothing feels better than being awoken by the sun streaming through the window, feeling rested and refreshed, putting on your favourite summer jewellery & bikini and heading for a day of adventures without obligations. What materials were used to create the collection?

As you know, all My Jewellery jewellery is made from premium stainless steel! Why? Because we want you to be able to cultivate a lasting bond with our pieces, and premium stainless steel is tarnish-proof which means your pieces will last for years to come! Our Elements of the Ocean collection was designed to be worn on all of your summer adventures and that means beach trips, pool dips, and ocean dives, so we knew these pieces had to be 100% waterproof in all ways. No ocean inspired jewellery collection is complete without gorgeous freshwater pearls and seashell designs, so you’ll find plenty of both in this range of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings! • Jewellery materials: freshwater pearls

One of the most beautiful things to come out of water has to be freshwater pearls! As the name suggests, freshwater pearls form in mollusks that live in freshwater environments, think lakes, rivers, glaciers and more. Freshwater pearls have a gorgeous lustre that means they shimmer in the light and their creamy whiteness will beautifully offset a summer tan! As freshwater pearls are natural products every one of them is unique in shape, yet they always look stunning paired with colourful beads, a simple gold chain or stacked with more pearls. Pearls also happen to be the birthstone for June babies and are said to symbolise purity, humility and innocence! We love wearing jewellery that has a special meaning to us! 
 

• Jewellery materials: glass beads

The glass beads used for the Elements of the Ocean Collection are reminiscent of beach glass: those pieces of glass that are weathered by the waves yet made all the more beautiful with the passing of time, and are sure to create a shimmering reflection of the sunlight on your skin. While the glass looks light, colourful and summery, the design of the glass chip beads was also intentional as it transports you back to picking the prettiest pieces of glass and seashells off the beach and bringing them home to remind you of your favourite summer moments!

A number of the most statement-making pieces in the collection feature resin, a natural viscous substance from plants which can be turned into polymers to create stunning, colourful charms & pendants. Resins are mixtures of organic compounds, so they’re really light-weight and moldable, which means comfort & style in one!
