Our 6 favourite trends for Winter

Winter is coming! Even though it’s often cold & wet, and you usually end up having to scrape the windshield for ice before your morning commute, Winter does in some ways have it’s own charms. Hot chocolate, blankets, candlelight and comfy sweaters, there are times when we actually really love it! Winter is also the season for killer fashion and trends, and you’ll want to head out of the door looking on-trend. Need to know the latest trends for the Winter? Well, we’ve put together our 6 favourite trends for Winter.

Winter trend #1: white

White is the colour of snow, so it’s really totally in keeping with Winter. However, when we think of white clothing and fashion we don’t normally think of Winter fashion. Luckily, things have changed this year, because this Winter white was spotted all over the fashion-scene. From hoodies to cardigans, and blouses to tops, white is truly white-hot!

Winter trend #2: oversized coats

Curling up and hiding in a thick winter coat, that’s all we want this Winter! Just as well this is a huge trend for the cold season. Whether strolling through town, cycling to work or going on a bracing Winter walk, everything will be so much more comfortable in an oversized coat. The ultimate oversized coats would have to be: teddy coats! Super comfy and oh so warm! Winter trend #3: brightly coloured knitwear

Sweaters, hoodies, turtlenecks, we can’t get enough of Winter knitwear. Jumpers are a recurring trend for Winter every year, but this year we’re noticing a super happy sweater weather trend namely, brightly coloured knitwear. Winter can be a pretty sombre time of year, but if you start the day wearing a colourful piece of knitwear, we know you’ll start the day in a much better place! All in all, a very happy trend! 

Winter trend #4: Gold & shiny jewellery

Gold jewellery has been a fashion staple for a while now, and this trend is definitely not going anywhere anytime soon. This Winter we’re especially noticing the trend for large, shiny statement jewellery. Basically, the bigger the better! Winter trend #5: leather look

Wear it with a blouse, long-sleeved top or cute turtleneck and you’ve got yourself a warm & on-trend outfit!
