There's different methods to determining your ring size, most of which are super easy to do at home! Every one of the easy-to-use methods we're going to be explaining uses this handy size guide which makes determining your correct ring size easy-peasy lemon squeezy!

Measure the diameter of your ring with a tape measure

Let's start with a super easy method. All you need is a ring that fits your finger well and a measuring tape.

1. Place your ring on a table and take your measuring tape.

2. Measure the inner diameter of your ring.

3. Check your ring size in the table.

Measuring the diameter of your finger with a tape measure

If you don't have a ring that fits your finger well, then you could choose to measure the diameter of your finger instead.

1. Put your hand flat on the table and take a measuring tape.

2. Measure the diameter of the finger on which you want to wear your ring.

3. Now that you know how many millimetres the diameter of your finger is, you can read your ring size in the table.

Measuring the diameter of your ring with a caliper

An alternative method to measuring your ring size is by using a tool called a Caliper.
Again, you'll need a ring that fits well when applying this method.

1. Start by placing your ring in the jaws of the caliper.

2. Check how many millimeters that measures.

3. Check your ring size in the table.

Measuring the diameter of your finger with a caliper

Use your caliper to measure the diameter of your finger.

1. Place the jaws of the caliper around the finger on which you want to wear your ring.

2. Check how many millimetres the diameter of your finger is.

3. Check your ring size in the table.

The circumference of your finger

The final method to determining your ring size is by measuring the circumference of your finger. The method is particularly useful when you don't yet have a ring that fits your finger properly, as the only thing you need is a measuring tape.

1. Wrap the measuring tape around the finger on which you want to wear your ring.

 2. Read off the millimetres at the point where the tape comes together.

3. Check the table to see which ring size corresponds to those measurements.

Don't have a measuring tape? Grab a piece of string and pull it around your finger, cut it off at the place where the string meets around your finger and then put it along a ruler to measure the circumference. Et voila, you've got your perfect ring size!
