How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
How would you describe a regular day at the office?
I manage the fast-growing Wholesale Team and together with the Sales Team I’m working at presenting My Jewellery through selective partnerships in the most beautiful places (inter)nationally. Think: on-trend fashion boutiques, gorgeous jewellery and concept stores, and even large department stores and airport shops. The next 5 years are all about international growth both online (marketplaces) and through traditional retail. We believe and invest heavily in the overall experience of the product and purchasing moment, which is why the sales department always stays in regular contact with our points-of-sale and we work closely with our VM team to make sure our brand is presented in the way we want to be presented. Besides being a social media company, I would say we’re also very much a tech company, which is why we’re becoming more involved with EDI and sales replenishment strategies.
What makes this job so sparkling & powerful to you?
No mountain is too steep for My Jewellery, and yet we will only enter into partnerships in our own way. This means that our brand identity and how we present ourselves is always top priority. We’ve noticed that this seems to create a lot of positive energy for us as well as our partners, probably because in today’s retail landscape having such a strong identity is really important to the consumer. Attention for trends, affordable high-quality products and the right surroundings, creates a truly sparkling shopping experience.
What do you enjoy most about working for the Sales team?
Every day is different, but that’s what makes it fun and challenging. We have great ambitions so we work very hard, but we also laugh a lot. You can really tell that everyone’s working towards the same goals and it feels very special to be a part of.
